Crafting High-quality Cocktails

Learn how to make professional-quality cocktails at home. You probably know Leslie Zamora, our bar manager at Nightjar, for the fantastic cocktails she creates at our restaurant. However, did you know she also brings years of fine-dining experience and draws on her degree from the Culinary Institute of America? In her role at Nightjar, Leslie re-invents classic cocktails to bring a modern approach and focus on fresh, house-made ingredients.

Back by popular demand, we offer a unique opportunity to learn the basics of proper cocktail-making with Leslie. We will build shaken, stirred, and built-in glass drinks. For this class, Leslie will focus on our popular Nighthawk, an Oaxaca Old Fashioned, and the Paradise Flower, an in-house special made with Hibiscus and Passionfruit.

Leslie will also cover variations of these drinks and an overview of cocktail basics. You will get hands-on experience making different types of cocktails and take home printed recipes, fresh syrups, and the knowledge and techniques to make top-notch cocktails using supplies you have at home.

Each class purchase includes a stainless steel cocktail shaker and a classic jigger—perfect for giving if you buy the class as a gift.

❤ We will email participants when the shakers and jiggers are available for pickup for gift-giving; otherwise, they will be distributed during the class.

❤ We’re excited to host you for our upcoming cocktail class! Please note that we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you cannot attend. After this time, refunds will not be available due to our minimal space and materials. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to mix things up with you! Cheers!
